She did it!! After 39 years as a nurse and 15 years at Kaiser, my beautiful mama retired yesterday!! ⁣
In May of 2013, I visited this hale with @tfahawaii 2013 Hawai‘i Island CMs, and we were lucky enough to learn about it from Councilwoman Karen Eoff who invited us to add ‘ili‘ili to it. ⁣
Bump and Mama went out today! After a 3-week hiatus, it was awesome to get out there and feel good. I’m still adjusting to this new body (lots of bathroom breaks 😅) but grateful that body and baby girl are still letting me get movement. ⁣
Bump and Mama get shot 2! So grateful to @hawaiipachealth for providing this opportunity and to be able to do my part to protect my community. Thank you scientists and healthcare workers who made this happen. And thanks to the folks at Pier 2 for making it so smooth! #yayscience #COVIDVaccine
